ORGANIC DARJEELING ARYA 2024 - BLACK TEA, 45GR

Darjeeling is one of the most famous tea-producing regions of the world. Grown on the slopes of the Himalayas, Darjeeling teas are of absolute top quality, with a special and elegant flavor that is consistently impressive across all harvests.

At the end of 2011 the EU defined the name Darjeeling as a “protected geographical indication” (PGI).

In March, after the winter lull, the first tender shoots are harvested in the mountains. The most expressive and delicate early teas are flown out by plane and are therefore available as early as the beginning of April. These teas from the spring picking in March and April are characterized by a light, glowing cup, a fresh, flowery flavour, lively character, intensive fragrance and delicate leaves with green tips.

The certified organic Arya tea garden is one of the most renowned in Darjeeling.

Where a group of Buddhist monks once settled in 1763 to establish a monastery in
a heavenly atmosphere, tea plants now thrive, producing premium teas from sustainable cultivation.

Originally planted by the monks in 1885 under the name of Sidrabong, the tea garden now delights tea lovers with the highest quality under the name Arya.
